Dear Open Records Officer,
At the Feb. 23, 2024 public meeting of the Board of Trustees Executive Committee was presented a 'Workgroup 5'report,' part of which were 'deep dive' slides by the Deloitte consultant group, including the slide reprinted below. I am informed that at least several persons have sought access to the data that show the names of the 27 benchmark institutions, or that show the names of the 14 (in addition to UK) benchmarks at which the institutional senate has 'beyond advisory role,' but it is my understanding those persons have been denied those data.
I formally request here by the external Open Records law mechanism the record(s) showing the data of the names of the 27 benchmark institutions and the names of the 14 (in addition to UK) that the institutional senate has 'beyond advisory role.'
My purpose in requesting these data is to contribute to University efforts to exercise "critical thinking," which is a stated feature of the University's Strategic Plan.
Thank you.
Davy Jones
